James Okonkwo is a partner in the litigation and restructuring practices. He has tried cases to verdict in federal courts in New York, Delaware, and Texas, and has argued before the Second, Third, and Fifth Circuits. His recent matters include the defense of a securities class action that obtained a complete defense verdict, and the Chapter 11 case of an industrial manufacturer with $1.8 billion in liabilities.
James joined the firm in 2001. Before private practice, he clerked for the Southern District of New York.
